The Sharjah Ruwad SME was established under Law No. (2) of 2005 issued by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, with the aim of supporting and assisting small and medium-sized enterprises in the Emirate of Sharjah by providing financial and technical support and creating a conducive environment for the establishment and development of these projects. The center was attached to the Department of Economic Development in the Emirate of Sharjah by Decree-Law No. (4) of 2020 issued on July 23, 2020, by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah
